Cheer Gym Tycoon ("the game") is made by Ten Talents Studio LLC, a Virginia company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses and why. We built the game to collect as little as possible.
Your progress (coins, teams, coaches, upgrades, trophies and settings) is saved on your phone or in your web browser. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. If you delete the app or clear your browser's data, your progress is deleted too.
When you first play, the game asks what year you were born. The game uses this only to choose the right settings for your age, such as how ads and purchases work. We do not keep your birth year. The game only keeps a general age group (under 13, 13 to 17, or 18 and over), and it is saved only on your device.
To learn which parts of the game are fun or confusing, the game may send anonymous gameplay events, like "a new gym was unlocked" or "the tutorial was finished." These stats are handled by Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics service. Each event includes only:
They do not include your name, email, device ID, advertising ID or location, and they can't be used to identify you. You can turn them off in Settings → Share anonymous game stats. Game stats are never sent for players under 13.
The free test version has an optional Tester Questionnaire. If you choose to fill it out, your answers are sent to a Google Form owned by us and saved in our Google account. The form asks for a first name (you may use a nickname), an age range, the type of device you played on, and your opinions about the game. Please don't include private information in the free-text answers. We use the answers only to improve the game. Google's privacy policy applies to how Google stores form answers.
The app version may show optional ads, for example "watch an ad for a reward." Ads are provided by Google AdMob. For players under 13, ads are set to child-directed mode. For players under 18, only non-personalized ads are shown. Google's privacy policy explains how AdMob uses information. The free test version does not show real ads.
The app version offers optional in-app purchases, such as removing ads or buying gems. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. For players under 13, a parent check appears before any purchase. Purchases are turned off in the free test version.
If you play on itch.io, YouTube or another website, that website may collect its own information under its own privacy policy. This policy covers only the game itself.
The game can be played by all ages, and we take extra care with younger players. For players under 13, we don't collect personal information, we don't send game stats, ads are child-directed, and purchases need a parent check. If you are a parent and think your child has sent us personal information, for example in the tester questionnaire, email us and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be noted in the game or on this page.
