Hope Hill: Church Revival ("Hope Hill," "the game") is made by Ten Talents Studio LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses and why. We collect as little as we can.
Hope Hill has no player accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. We do not run our own servers that receive information about you.
Your progress (your church, neighbors, items and settings) is saved only on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the game deletes your progress.
Free browser version. The free early version of Hope Hill is hosted on itch.io, which runs the game page under its own privacy policy. In the browser version, your progress is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device; clearing your browser data deletes it. The browser version has no purchases and no ads. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when the fonts load. The purchases and ads sections below apply to the iPhone app.
Purchases of Lanterns, packs and the Hope Hill Pass are handled entirely by Apple. Apple processes your payment under its own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made, so the game can deliver what you bought. We never see your payment details.
Hope Hill shows optional ads, for example when you choose to watch an ad for a reward. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:
When the game first starts, your device asks whether Hope Hill may track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, Google will not use your advertising identifier, and you will see less personalized ads. You can change this at any time in your device's Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game also asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

Hope Hill is made for teens and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, email [email protected] and we will help remove it.
Your game progress stays on your device until you delete the game. Information collected by Google for advertising is kept under Google's own policies.
We do not keep personal information on our own systems. Purchases go through Apple's secure payment system.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Important changes will also be noted in the game's update notes.
