Sweet Secrets of Willow Lake Privacy Policy

Sweet Secrets of Willow Lake is a cozy bakery mystery merge game made by Ten Talents Studio LLC ("we," "us"). You merge ingredients, fill orders, restore the bakery and uncover the town's secrets. This policy explains what the game uses and why, for both the free browser version and the upcoming Android app.

The short version

• No account, no sign-in, no profile.
• Your game progress and settings are saved on your device. We can't see them.
• The browser version has no ads, no analytics and no purchases.
• The Android app will offer optional rewarded video ads and in-app purchases through Google Play. Google handles payments; we never see your card details.
• We never sell your personal information.

What we collect and why

In the browser version

Optional feedback form

The game page links to an optional Google Form. If you fill it in, you can choose to share:

• a first name (optional)
• your device and browser type
• your answers about the game
• your email address, only if you want to test the Android app early

Your answers are stored in a Google Sheet that only Ten Talents Studio can access. We use them only to improve the game and invite early testers. We don't sell them, add you to marketing lists or share them with anyone else.

Ads in the Android app

• Ads are optional rewarded videos: you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game bonus. You can play the whole game without watching any.
• Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may use your advertising ID to show more relevant ads.
• To limit personalized ads, open your phone's Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and delete or reset your advertising ID. You'll still see ads if you choose to watch them, but they won't be based on your interests.
• Where the law requires it, the app will ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.

Purchases and subscriptions

• In-app purchases and the monthly subscription in the Android app go through Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment information.
• To cancel a subscription, open the Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. If you need help, email us.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Require an account or collect your contacts, photos or precise location.
• Use your feedback answers for advertising.

Children's privacy

Sweet Secrets of Willow Lake is family-friendly, but it is made for adults and older teens and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, for example through the feedback form, email us and we'll delete it promptly.

Keeping and deleting your information

• Browser game: clear your browser's site data for itch.io (or the game's page) to erase your progress. We can't restore it.
• Android app: uninstall the app or clear its storage in your phone's Settings to erase your progress.
• Feedback form answers: email us and we'll delete them from our Google Sheet within 30 days.
• Purchase records are kept by Google Play under Google's policies.

Security

The game and our website use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because your progress is saved only on your device, there's no copy of it on our servers to be exposed.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us; we answer within 30 days and never charge for it. Residents of some states, including Virginia and California, have these rights by law; we offer them to everyone.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and post the new version on this page. For important changes, such as adding a new kind of data, we'll also show a notice in the game.
